2013 Gypsy Queen - Day 3, Mail day and Star Wars?

I know I say this often, but my mailbox literally exploded with stuff. It's like it all comes in one day and then nothing else small comes at all, it's really strange because I get my mail everyday. I don't know what to make of it. lol

Anyways, lets start off with a trade with Joshua825 at the Trading Card Database, I gave up some 2012 Heritage and a couple 2013 Topps parallels and in return some Cardinal cards including...

2009 Topps Finest Jason Motte rookie card. Now a Cub, so he needs to be booed feverishly.

1995 King B Discs Ozzie Smith. It's an Ozzie!

1993 Upper Deck Iooss Collection Ozzie Smith. An Ozzie card I've been wanting for the longest time, it's finally in my collection. The picture is awesome.

A big thank you to Joshua825 for the trade, some great cards.

Now it's the return of everybody's favorite...Listia show and tell. First Up...

2015 Panin Prizm Kolten Wong. I've been on a Wong collecting kick lately. 1,010

2015 Topps Opening Day Superstar Celebrations Kolten Wong. See above. 2,020 points

2015 Gypsy Queen Framed Pearl (I like that name better than Paper Framed White) Mark McGwire. Wasn't really sure if I wanted this, but in the closing moment of the auction, I decided I did. 2,949 points.

2001 Donruss Classics Jim Edmonds. The card looks better in person than the scan. 1,010 points.

2014 Gypsy Queen David Freese. Former Cardinals, he shall never be booed though because of his monster postseason in 2011. 1,169 points.

2014 Topps Blue Border Yadier Molina. I'll collect parallels of Cardinals all day. Only 912 points. That seems kind of low, huh?

2008 Upper Deck Masterpieces Ozzie Smith. The scan does the card very little justice (and is a lot darker). 1,482 points.

2010 Topps Vintage Legends Collection Ozzie Smith. The final card from the Listia lot. Nice looking card done in a retro Topps design, I have no clue what year. lol 2,500 points.

And one last thing before I move onto ripping open some 2013 Gypsy Queen...

2015 Topps Star Wars Journey to the Force Awakens Chewbacca Patch. I got this off eBay for $4 shipped. I have no clue what I'm going to do with it. lol It's a really nice looking card, I just bid on it for a lark, thinking, certainly someone would bid higher, but nope. I should stop doing that. I don't know. I guess it will sit in my collection. I might throw it up on Listia for a ridiculous amount. lol

Now to Gypsy Queen, pack 1 of 3 today...

#76 Jurickson Profar rookie card is first out of the gate.

#58 Jean Segura.

#92 Tim Lincecum short print.

Scanning...Why are the Mini's a different shade of green from the base cards? That's odd...

#247 Jose Reyes Mini

#254 Bronson Arroyo. Double. Didn't I get this in the first pack? Hang on...Yes I did. Son of Gun, that sucks. lol

#283 Daniel Murphy. Double. Also from the first pack, exactly behind Arroyo. Oh, is that so annoying. I'm getting flashback to 2012-13 Panini. Luckily last card of the pack.

An ok first pack, the Profar rookie and Lincecum short print are nice, but the two doubles at the end sucks. Pack 2....

#69 Jon Jay. Cardinals, yay!

#187 Curtis Granderson short print.

Andrew McCutchen Sliding Stars insert.

Scan...And this Mini is a shade darker too...I don't get it.

#52 Hanley Ramirez Mini

#227 Francisco Liriano. Double.

#194 Brandon Phillips ends the pack.

A solid pack. A short print, a Cardinal and a nice insert. Final pack for today...

#13 Wei-Yin Chen

#71 Jose Bautista

R.A. Dickey Dealing Aces insert.

Scanning....The Minis are definitely a different shade than the base cards...

#294 Rickie Weeks Mini

#185 Ryan Doumit.

#212 Kevin Youkilis. Double and ends the pack.

An ok pack to wrap up today. And that is eight packs in the books, one pack from each blaster, so two half blasters to go. Who knows what will be in there. Until next time...
